Our Coalition to Stop Home Care Cuts was formed in August 2002.  We felt there was a need to inform the public about what was happening to home care cuts in Ottawa and in Ontario. 

We are persons with disabilities and/or who have had an illness or an operation who had their home care cut.  We are on low incomes and cannot afford to pay for our own home care.  We have people who are our supporters who also come to our peaceful protests and events.

We rely on the media to get our message out to the public about the home care cuts.  Our Coalition gives interviews to the media.
